More information

The Working Environment Act § 3-5 states the employer´s obligation to undergo training in health, environment, and safety work. This requirement cannot be delegated. The purpose of this course is to provide you with the necessary understanding of what health, safety, and environment work involve, and the importance of working systematically with HSE. The course follows the same structure as a classroom HSE course but instead of an in-person training, this course is web-based. It contains text, images, videos, quizzes and reflection questions in order to be both educational and engaging. Print your course certificate after completion. The course will be available for 12 months after the date of purchase. The course only requires you to have a computer with internet access. 

Who is the course suited for?

The course is intended for general managers, CEOs, line managers and other employees with responsibility for personnel. The Working Environment Act, section 3-5: The employer’s obligation to undergo training in health, environment and safety work. The Working Environment Act, section 3-2b: Employees charged with directing or supervising other employees shall have the necessary competence to ensure that the work is performed in a proper manner with regard to health and safety.

Requirements for prior knowledge

No prior knowledge is required to participate in this course. The course is adapted to those with little or no HSE knowledge, but also aims to give a refresher to course participants who are already familiar with the material.
